Discuss: Microsoft May Purchase Electronic Arts

Although Microsoft often uses acquisition as a way to expand their business I do not see them purchasing EA. Such an acquisition would hurt gamers as undoubtedly Microsoft would change several EA titles to exclusive 360 titles.

Imagine how a combined EA and Microsoft could scheme to get every cent out of us.

That is very true you also have to consider how they change the way ea operates, they might let them do their thing but at the same time Microsoft has to give the green lights on each production or they might just merge all the studios into Microsoft game studios like they did with fasa and Ensemble studio. on another note that would mean bioware would be working with Microsoft again and kill any chance of a valve port for ps3 and any other ea game.
